The inputs need not be more accurate than what the original corridor designer has used.

Our Required Inputs

The more accurate data used, the more accurate results achieved. However, we are willing to use only the data that the original corridor designers used to design the human-made corridor. The precision and accuracy of inputs need not to be more than the original ones. In all cases the topographic map used by the original corridor designer has been utilized by us to achieve a better corridor. Our use of machines, requires changing the data to machine readable formats. The main data we need to start processing includes the following items. Except the topographic map that must exist, for preparation of the other items, our team will help you to acquire them.

Main data to start the delivery process:

1. Your current corridor profile plan and profile file

2. Digital Terrain Model (DTM), in a popular format (we transform it to Ascii XYZ format)

3. Cad File(s) providing layers for identifying:

  • Major roads, railways, major rivers and flood zones, existing utility lines (gas, oil, electricity, …) environmentally sensitive or military zones, villages, etc.
  • All Information about accessible lands. (Restrictions of land acquisition & acquisition prices)
  • Geological studies and drawings (soil types)
  • Development of infrastructures (in design phase, under construction or to be constructed later)
  • Land marks and obliging points to be touched such as start and finish points and their bearings
  • Seismic studies and drawings

4. Cost list of main actions and structures of the project (in Excel file).

5. Design criteria & specs (in Excel file, such as max grades, min curve radius, cut and fill slopes, road width, etc.)

6. Any other environmental constraints & constraints to material flow such as any obligated borrow or waste pit locations if present

7. Approximated cost of main interchange types (our team suggest defaults)
